Placing Online Orders:
Ordering online is easy. You
can stock your shopping cart and proceed to the checkout. If you are not logged in, you will be
redirected to the login page, or the account creation page if you have not yet registered.
The checkout section will allow for the following types of payment:
- CASH: To be used for local pickup or delivery, or if instructed otherwise to choose this option.
- CHECK or MONEY ORDER: If paying by mail, sending a personal, business, or cashier's check, or any
domestic or international money order.
- PAYPAL: If you have a PayPal account, this method is available. You can also use it to pay via Credit
Card, but it is not required for Credit Card payments.
- CREDIT CARD: Standard secure Credit Card processing. Visa or MC is accepted, and the system will process with
Address Verification and Security Code Verification. All processing is 128-bit secure and done automatically.
Please be sure your billing address matches the information for the card, as if the address and
code (if applicable) do not match, a declined payment is possible.
- ELECTRONIC CHECK: This method is available if paying by check is preferred, but mailing one is
inconvenient. It avoids the transit time and potential loss of postal mail and still provides the same
security as Credit Card processing. It is handled by the same secure servers using 128-bit encryption.
- CORPORATE PURCHASE ORDER: For companies requesting 30-day billing, and wish to have their purchases made
with a Purchase Order #, this is available. This option is only for those companies that have established a credit
account with T-nuts.com.
Placing Online Orders with Offline Payment:
Orders can be taken via the website with payment
made separately. For example, if you wish to have the Credit Card or E-Check information sent by phone and
not by email or online, the information can be taken by phone, bypassing electronic transmission of the
information. Just place the order via the site, choose the CASH option, include Comments in the order
indicating that the payment info will be called in, and call the number shown in the Contact Us section.
Or, we can call you if you desire. A confirmation can be sent via email or phone.
Phone or Email Orders:
Orders can be taken via phone or email and processed manually.
Payment methods will be arranged at that time.
Order Quantities:
T-Nuts.com is set up for bulk pricing breaks. Any quantity
for any item may be ordered unless the product has quantity restrictions. Bulk
pricing discounts are automatically applied. Orders for very large quantities may exceed stock on hand,
however this is not usually a big issue as stock is normally available from the manufacturers within a short time.
128-bit SSL Encryption:
All sensitive or private information is forced into 128-bit encrypted once
logged in. If you don't see the https: in front of the site name, your browser may not be running in
secure mode.
The site will switch in and out of secure mode when necessary. Encryption causes the pages to
post slower. For efficiency, pages that do not require encryption will be sent normally. Any page with
personal information, or any pages in the checkout process, are encrypted. |
